What surface load is recommended for MoSi2 heating elements?

Recommended hot-zone surface loads for MoSi2 heating elements are below 18 W/cm² at 1400℃, below 15 W/cm² at 1500℃, below 12 W/cm² at 1600℃, below 10 W/cm² at 1650℃ and below 8 W/cm² at 1700℃.

The suitable value should still be reviewed with furnace construction, atmosphere, element shape and target operating temperature.
