How should U type MoSi2 heating elements be installed?

Vertical hanging is recommended for U type MoSi2 heating elements, usually from the furnace crown with a support clamp. This avoids applying mechanical stress directly to the hot zone.

The holder must be installed carefully so the element hangs plumb. The lower taper part should extend into the furnace chamber, and the clip temperature should generally remain below 200℃.
