FAQ

Can a replacement SiC heating element be mixed with old elements?

Mixing one new SiC heating element with old elements may create uneven load because SiC resistance increases during service. For a short-service failure, a new element with a suitable higher resistance may be reviewed. For a long-aged group, replacing the full group is usually easier to balance.

Before ordering, record the voltage and current of each element group and share the circuit connection method. Series groups normally require closer resistance matching than parallel groups.
