Resistance matching is important when SiC heating elements are installed in groups or replaced during furnace maintenance. Poor matching can overload some elements and reduce service life.

Measure resistance at the right temperature

Room-temperature resistance cannot represent the high-temperature resistance of SiC elements. Resistance should generally be measured at a steady temperature of 1000℃ or above, then calculated from measured voltage and current.

Series and parallel matching rules
