MoSi2 Heating Element Furnace Start-Up and Maintenance Notes
MoSi2 heating elements are brittle at room temperature and plastic at high temperature, so start-up, installation and replacement methods matter. These notes provide a buyer-facing checklist for installation and maintenance review.
Installation and holder notes

New or long-idle furnaces should be dried before use. For large furnaces, stronger monitoring is recommended during the drying process.
Maintenance and replacement notes
When checking a damaged MoSi2 element, isolate the element from other straps before checking continuity. After replacement, block the gap with ceramic fiber and restart the power to the element bank carefully.
Review MoSi2 heating element specifications, U type MoSi2 heating elements and W type MoSi2 heating elements, then send the furnace temperature, element grade, dimensions and electrical data through the RFQ form.
