FAQ
Why should MoSi2 elements avoid long-term operation at 400-700℃?
MoSi2 elements should not be operated for a long time in the 400-700℃ range. In that range, strong low-temperature oxidation may cause the element to powder.
For a new or long-idle furnace, drying may be necessary, but prolonged low-temperature operation should be avoided. Share the start-up schedule and furnace size when requesting selection support.
